Finding Healing, Growth, & Empowerment Together
Why Choose Therapy?
A number of benefits are available from participating in therapy. Therapy can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, stress management, body image issues and creative blocks. Many people also find that therapy can be a tremendous asset to managing personal growth, interpersonal relationships, family concerns, marriage issues, and the hassles of daily life.
Counseling can provide a fresh perspective on a difficult problem or point you in the direction of a solution. The benefits you obtain from therapy depend on how well you use the process and put into practice what you learn.
About Giovanna
"I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). My decision to become a counselor comes from a genuine desire to support the well-being of others. I have always been curious about people—the experiences that shape us, the patterns we develop, and the ways we navigate both adversity and growth.
Mental health and psychology have been part of my world for as long as I can remember. As the daughter of a mental health counselor, I grew up in an environment where conversations about mental health, human behavior, and life’s challenges were natural.
Therapy was never something foreign to me; it was simply one way of making sense of our experiences and navigating the complexities of being human. This helped shape my ability to approach others with empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to listen and understand rather than judge.
Like many people, I have experienced my own life challenges and difficult seasons. Those experiences have deepened my understanding of resilience and my compassion for the complexities of being human. They have taught me that healing is not always linear and that there are times when we all need support to move through experiences that leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. These experiences have also reinforced for me how meaningful it can be to have someone who is willing to sit alongside you, listen without judgment and support your journey towards healing.
It is a privilege to support women through vulnerable and meaningful moments in their lives. I see each client as a whole person, with a unique history, strengths, challenges, and capacity for growth. My hope is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward healing, greater self-awareness, and a stronger sense of clarity, confidence, and connection with yourself.”
